The question I get the most when I speak about my art is probably “what inspire you?” It’s a hard question to assure as many things inspire me, from music, books, life in general to popular culture the influences are many. I have tremendous respect and admiration for artists that have develop such a style that you can recognize their work anywhere. I also admire the ability to tell a story through one image. These are quality I aim to achieve in my own art. I look at their work not to copy but to be inspire to find my own way like they did. So I decided that every Wednesday I would present you one artist that inspire me and let their magic do the same trick on you.
https://www.facebook.com/Dilkabearart?fref=tsDilka has a way to tell story through her painting and drawing. Her characters fells pretty much alive. She paint melancholia but I also find her painting to be hopeful and strong behind the sadness and fragility. Her work have been shown in many countries , she has been published in many magazine and have a few book out. You should definitely check her out on Facebook,or instagram where she share her art and her life with the cutest little dog name Oscar that sometimes make his way to Dilka art. You can get her art on Etsy it will fill your home with beauty! Here’s a collection of her work past and current to inspire you as well.
