Un éventail de mes dernières création, dans l’ordre et le désordre

I realized I haven't share much of my latest creation here so here you go.

Hi there! 
It's been a while… I've been quite busy creating, organizing, planning well you know living :) I decided I wanted to do a show this year, don't know where yet but that's my goal. I've just started working on a new eerie of birds and if I keep at it I think it might just be my best work yet. All to say that I'm quite exited about it. Here a sneak peak of an unfinished one and other stuff I've been up to. I will try to post more often to share my progress. What have you been up to?

I went to a thrift store las week and found a lovely blue tweed jacket and knew I had to do a bird with it, well I could do plenty actually but still here the first one. I like him a lot with is little wood beak and long legs. I added some decorating lace that I painted over. All the time I was making him I had that song from Sara Bareilles in mind. She is one of my favourite singer, she can be profound but also funny and quirky. On that note I got to pack my bag to go visit a friend and friday I'll be going on a little girl road trip with another friend, looking forward to get out of town a bit.

It all started with a doodle I did this week while waiting for my computer to finish processing a large file I was working on.
I came home at after work and had to do more. It was perfect to try new technic I've been wanted to try for a long time but never got to it.
I realized how much I've been missing playing with all my art supplies and get my fingers dirty. I'm gonna make more of these they are so much fun to do, seeing it evolve layer after layer. The hardest part would be to know when to stop. I did add some thread and fabric in there so it really mix my two passions drawing and sewing! Made me really happy it's nice to let go. Tout a commencé par un petit dessin d'oiseau imaginaire alors que j'attendais que mon ordi finisse de processer un lourd fichier, en rentrant à la maison je devais en faire d'avantage. Je me suis dit voilà l'occasion idéale pour essayer toutes ces nouvelles techniques qui me trottent dans la tête depuis longtemps. J'ai réalisé à quel point me salir les doigts et me laisser aller couche après couche m'avais manqué. J'ai même intégré du fil et des pièce de tissus question d'intégrer mes 2 passions, le dessin et la couture. Ça m'a fait un bien fou de me laisser aller ainsi. Créer pour le plaisir sans la pression de plaire à quiconque autre que soi. Bientôt disponible via ma boutique Etsy.
