Hi there! It's been a while… I've been quite busy creating, organizing, planning well you know living :) I decided I wanted to do a show this year, don't know where yet but that's my goal. I've just started working on a new eerie of birds and if I keep at it I think it might just be my best work yet. All to say that I'm quite exited about it. Here a sneak peak of an unfinished one and other stuff I've been up to. I will try to post more often to share my progress. What have you been up to? Your humble artist… Karine Novembre est a nouveau parmi nous, chaque année le temps passe de plus en plus vite.... Cette année Novembre débute avec une excellente nouvelle! Mes peluches sont désormais en vente à la boutique Kitsch 'n Sweel sur le Boulevard St-Laurent. Une boutique qui met à l'honneur le rétro, la taxidermie, l'art de vivre et curiosité. Je fait parti de la section créateurs locaux et j'en suis très fière! Passez y faire un tour, Noël approche et vous y trouverai un cadeau unique.
So November is here once again, time really do fly by. But this year November is a happy month for me, my stuffed animal found their way to a actual physical store! They are all hanging out together at Kitsch 'n Swell on Boulevard St-Laurent a nice boutique all about vintage, retro and taxidermy. I am part of the handmade local creators sections which I'm very proud of. Go have a look Christmas is coming sooner then later and you'll be buying a one of kind friend. :) So all the new medium and technique I've been studying the past few months have pay off. So here to a new me with more layers and depth. On another note. I realize lately that I don't think I ever felt this good in my skin for such a long period. I don't know what it is exactly, probably a mix of a lots of things but I feel great, I love my life, I'm doing what I love, have great friends, people I don't know (and some I know) have come to me to tell me that they were finding me inspiring and it prove to me that my positive attitude towards life is paying. I know what I want and most important I know that I won't let other bring me down or tell me what I cannot achieve. Now If I could find that mister right for me the picture would be complete, although I do pretty good by myself this girl need to share her awesomeness! :) I should call this one "Love myself" 
Finally summer is here. He took his time this year. The picture was taking last week end when Olive decided she was more important then the new pattern I was working on so I took a break with her. I have a big enough balcony to accommodate a little table and my BBQ I could cook everything outside in summer if I could. I also like the fact that I have trees in front of my appartment. For now I'm enjoying a nice summer day in Montreal in one of the public pool. I think this is the first time I publish a blog post that is not about my art. I do enjoy others things :). I when to a friend art show last week where I meet some very interesting people and artist, it was very casual and inspiring. Completely forgot to take pictures.
