I've been really busy creating lately, I feel so inspired and I'm more confident about my skills, all the hard work is paying off. Your humble artist is feeling very happy and alive! Je passe beaucoup de temps à créer dernièrement je me sens tellement inspiré et en possession de mes moyens. Tous les efforts des derniers mois portent fruits. 
So all the new medium and technique I've been studying the past few months have pay off. So here to a new me with more layers and depth. On another note. I realize lately that I don't think I ever felt this good in my skin for such a long period. I don't know what it is exactly, probably a mix of a lots of things but I feel great, I love my life, I'm doing what I love, have great friends, people I don't know (and some I know) have come to me to tell me that they were finding me inspiring and it prove to me that my positive attitude towards life is paying. I know what I want and most important I know that I won't let other bring me down or tell me what I cannot achieve. Now If I could find that mister right for me the picture would be complete, although I do pretty good by myself this girl need to share her awesomeness! :) I should call this one "Love myself" 
My latest creation, is a little different then what I usually create, I wanted to get out of my comfort zone, it was a lot of fun to create, I change my mind a few time and I'm still not sure on some details I might do some retouch. - Mix media, faux fur, felt, fabric, metal, wire, semi-precious and natural stones, beads, acrylic, watercolour and wax. Pour ma dernière création j'ai voulu sortir de ma zone de confort, j'ai testé quelques nouveaux médium et je suis bien contente du résultat même si certain détails m'agace, Je vais probablement faire quelques retouches une fois que je l'aurai bien observé. Mix média, fausse fourrure, feutrine, tissus, métal, fil de fer, pierres semi-précieuses et polis, perles, acrylique, aquarelle et cire. 
It all started with a doodle I did this week while waiting for my computer to finish processing a large file I was working on. I came home at after work and had to do more. It was perfect to try new technic I've been wanted to try for a long time but never got to it. I realized how much I've been missing playing with all my art supplies and get my fingers dirty. I'm gonna make more of these they are so much fun to do, seeing it evolve layer after layer. The hardest part would be to know when to stop. I did add some thread and fabric in there so it really mix my two passions drawing and sewing! Made me really happy it's nice to let go. Soon on my etsy shop Tout a commencé par un petit dessin d'oiseau imaginaire alors que j'attendais que mon ordi finisse de processer un lourd fichier, en rentrant à la maison je devais en faire d'avantage. Je me suis dit voilà l'occasion idéale pour essayer toutes ces nouvelles techniques qui me trottent dans la tête depuis longtemps. J'ai réalisé à quel point me salir les doigts et me laisser aller couche après couche m'avais manqué. J'ai même intégré du fil et des pièce de tissus question d'intégrer mes 2 passions, le dessin et la couture. Ça m'a fait un bien fou de me laisser aller ainsi. Créer pour le plaisir sans la pression de plaire à quiconque autre que soi. Bientôt disponible via ma boutique Etsy. |
