Well to be true I've learned many things lately. This week-end I event learned that even if you have a thousands of dollars camera they get issues that can't be fix with rubber band! But I diverse that's not what I wanted to talk about here. I know that some of you are hesitant about signing up to a canvas journey because some supplies are hard to find well absorbent ground is hard to find. I've been buying so many jar of it at my corner art store that I sometimes forget that not everyone have access to the same product. But not to worry I tested the DIY on canvas for you and it work! It has a little different grip to it but by sending it down a tiny bit I was able to achieve the same kind of results I get with my precious Golden absorbent ground. :) So my conclusion is if you can get the original get it but if not Liquitex modeling paste and gesso will work just fine! :I'm also happy to see the group who have sign up so far, people for all around the world. I can't wait to share with you what I have create for October. I have to restrain myself to fill up the journal faster than I can film it all! Before I go here is the second important thing I realized last week: Women need to shift from thinking ❝I'm not ready to do that❞ to thinking registration at early bird price for A Canvas journey is still
going on until October 13th! I did a little live post earlier on Facebook to pick the winner of the giveaway. First time using the live function.
If I can figure out how to do it in the group it's possible that I will try that again during the class every now and then :) I'm taking the rest of the day off to create for the fun of it before starting to shoot October tomorrow, I don't think I had one day in more than a month now, I think I deserve it! But don't worry I'm really not complaining, working on something you love so much is really rewarding! And the winner is: Fiona Graig from Australia!! All the way from Canada I'm offering you a year membership of my A Canvas Journey!! Sent you an email using the one you use to sign-up to the newsletter :) See you all in class. And registration open tomorrow or maybe later today, I'm activating the link now :) !!! Ever since I started creating my canvas journal the response I've got with every post grew more and more enthusiast and I knew I was up to something. I've been wanting to launch my own online class for a while not but there is so many great teachers out there already I wanted to offer something different and that would feel right with the fact that even if I breath art every second of my life I still got a "day job" as a graphic designer and when I commit to something I like to deliver whats expected. I'm offering you a monthly "rendez-vous" of 2 lessons for under $10 a lesson with a trimester registration or less than 7$ a lesson with a year subscription! That's quite a deal :) !!
If that was not cheap enough until October 13th you can register at an $64 for a trimester and $156 for a year subscription. Would you like to win a full year subscription ? Yes? It's easy simply sign up for my newsletter if you haven't already do so AND leave me a comment bellow letting me know which Norse and Greek mythology, legends and fairy tales which depict strong women throughout history would you like to learn more about this year. I will do at least one "on request" projects every trimester. :) The winner will be announce September 17th Feel free to share with your friends on your social media and I can't wait to see you in class! |
